One of my favorite things to bake are cakes. Many people think making a cake is a simple process, but truthfully, it can be a very challenging endeavor that takes years of experience to master. There is a lot of chemistry involved in getting that perfectly moist cake every time. My cakes are what helped me start my side business in baking.
At a birthday party for my niece, the guests fell in love with the cake I made. From there, I began receiving orders on cakes and other goods. My small side business has grown from there and kept me busy over the past six years. I have learned a lot along the way, much of which I will share here.
